Introduction

Just like some of the fiat currencies are hard to exchange in certain places, Ethereum Classic token involves purchasing with Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). This tutorial will focus on using Binance to purchase Ethereum Classic (ETC) with Ethereum. If you don’t have any ETH yet and are having troubles purchasing it, read one of the following tutorial:

Tutorial

STEP 1. Register on Binance

Verify your email and follow the instructions to continue.

Log in for further set-up after activating your account. Continue after agreeing all the terms.

Choose a way to receive two-factor authentication code.

Click “unverified” bottom to carry on with identity verification.

Select Identity Verification Type.

Fill in the requested information.

Start ID verification for your safety, upload passport and an image with a handwritten note.

Wait for the approval. You can still trade without verification with a 2 BTC withdraw limit.

STEP 2. Deposit ETH to your Binance ETH Address The most convenient cryptocurrencies are BTC and ETH because both of them have trading pairs with the vast majority of coins listed on Binance. In this tutorial, we will use ETH.

Click “Deposit” from the drop-down menu.

Choose “Ethereum (ETH)”

Send your ETH to the “ETH Deposit Address”

Check your balance.

STEP 3. Purchase ETC with ETH Click Basic

Select ETH and search for ETC on the top right corner. The ETC/ETH trading pair should appear. A price chart will appear after clicking on the trading pair.

Use “Limit order" if you wish to buy in a specific price.

Use “Market” for the current price. Enter the amount you would like to buy and it will be added to your balance soon.

STEP 4. Buy Blockchain Domain Names at Portal Network With some ETC in your Binance account, you can now proceed on buying domain names at Portal Network Marketplace.
